Company Overview

Nourish Snacks promises great tasting snacks without sacrificing health. Founded by Joy Bauer, NBC’s TODAY show nutritionist, these snacks are made with real food, gluten-free, dairy-free, non-GMO and vegetarian friendly. Featuring 25 flavor combinations for every mood and craving, packages are portion-controlled and under 200 calories!

Nourish Snacks was extremely kind and sent us a collection of their flavors to try.

My Thoughts

Nourish offers a lot of options like granola, half-popped popcorn, peanuts, roasted corn, fruit and chickpeas. Each bag featured a different flavor that would appeal to a variety of individuals from salty to sweet to even spicy.  Since Nourish Snacks sent me plenty of packages, I passed around samples to everyone I could find to get a wide range of opinions.

Kid Perspective

The granola bites were a huge hit with the young ones. My daughter (7 years old) could not get enough of them. They were the perfect combination of chewy and crunchy packed with great flavor. The package was the perfect size to throw in her lunchbox or pack in her bag for after school activities.

Outside of the granola, the half-popped popcorn and chickpeas didn’t go over quite as well. But that’s kids for you!

Adults

Overall, adults loved the Nourish Snacks! While some preferred one flavor over another, they were all pleasantly surprised by a great tasting healthy snack. The sweeter versions tended to be the most popular with flavors like apples and almonds, cocoa-dusted almonds, and blueberry apple granola bites. Though salty and spicy weren’t far behind. As with kids, the package is just perfect for tucking a few in your purse or gym bag to adding to your lunch box.

Nourish Snacks offer a variety of options that start at just $10 for 5 packages (or $9.00 if you subscribe). There are also multi-packs, samplers and gift boxes.
