Community Church Blesses Motorcycle Riders

2016 Blessing Riders Poster-8.5x11Community United Methodist Church will deliver an inspirational message and blessing to motorcycle enthusiasts at 12 p.m. on church grounds at 3487 Route 130 in Irwin.

Community Church invites anyone who rides motorcycles, loves someone who rides, and anyone who passes riders on the street to come together as we raise a single voice to bless our local riders. “Our blessing brings about a sense of peace for riders,” says Niki Cermak, a church volunteer. “We attract more motorcycle enthusiasts every year.”

If you have a motorcycle in your garage or you know someone who does, then make sure to attend the Blessing of the Riders at Community Church to take part in a blessing for a safe riding season. Prior to the blessing, you are invited for awesome food and lots of great conversation with your fellow enthusiasts. Last year’s event was a great success, and church members hope for an even better turn out this year.

Pennsylvania roadways offer motorcycle riders scenic beauty for hundreds of miles. As the weather begins to warm and more riders begin to traverse our highways, Community United Methodist Church wants to ensure all riders enjoy a safe and blessed riding season.

Food and soft drinks will include hamburgers and hotdogs. Our congregation will also provide fellowship and live music performed by Community Church’s Worship Team. All are welcome to participate in this good news blessing and friendship.
